On desktop, this is usually the built-in webcam.
On mobile, there are multiple cameras.
When enabled, mobile users can:
Switch between cameras (front & rear).
Use the rear camera for b-roll or cutaway shots.
This is particularly useful when filming both self-recorded answers and additional footage.
